In addition, legendary producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi has confirmed the rumors that the game is being developed by the exact same star team behind the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 2 Remake (RE2R) and Resident Evil 4 Remake (RE4R), ensuring top-tier survival horror quality.
The Story: Escape From Rockfort Island
Three months have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Claire Redfield, a college student and survivor of the incident alongside Leon S. Kennedy and Sherry Birkin, travels to France in search of her brother, Chris. However, what awaits her is not a heartwarming reunion, but an Umbrella special forces unit responsible for the incident. They capture Claire and transport her to Rockfort Island — a prison surrounded by the open ocean from which escaping unaided is completely impossible. Due to another sudden biological disaster, the remote island transforms into a living hellscape of survival horror, forcing Claire into a desperate attempt to escape.
